Englewood, CO (Sports Network) - The Denver Broncos claimed safety Calvin Lowry off waivers from Tennessee on Monday, two days after he was released by the Titans.
Lowry, a fourth-round pick of the Titans in 2006, played in all 16 games and started 11 at safety for Tennessee in 2007, and racked up 62 tackles and two interceptions.
To make room for Lowry, the Broncos released defensive back Roderick Rogers, who saw action in two games with Denver last season.
Additionally, Denver added defensive end Ryan McBean, running back P.J. Pope and wide receiver Travis Wilson to the practice squad.
